Milan Retreats began as a single vision: to welcome visitors to Milan in a way that transcended conventional hospitality. Elisa Lainati founded the company with the intention of combining elegance, comfort, and tailored service in the city's most exclusive areas. What started as a concept has grown into a network of over 100 apartments, each thoughtfully designed to make guests feel at home despite being away from it.
The apartments are distributed across nine central Milan neighborhoods: Duomo–San Babila, Repubblica–Centrale, Brera, Navigli, Porta Romana, Cadorna, Porta Venezia, Isola, and CityLife. This geographic spread allows visitors to anchor themselves in different parts of the city depending on their purpose—whether attending Milan Fashion Week, exploring cultural institutions, or using the city as a base for travel to Cortina or other northern destinations.
